Drug Uses
The active ingredient in Viagra Soft, sildenafil citrate, is absorbed rapidly because the soft tablets are chewed - therefore the drug enters the bloodstream quickly and begins to work almost immediately. Like original Viagra, Viagra Soft work by relaxing muscles which, in turn, helps blood flow to the penis. This enables a man to achieve an erection when sexually stimulated, and to maintain it for successful sexual intercourse.
Viagra Soft are for use by men only. Viagra Soft will not protect against sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV AIDS.
Dose
Always use Viagra Soft exactly as prescribed by a doctor. Never increase or decrease the dose without your doctor’s permission. Do not use Viagra Soft more than once a day. Men who are taking ritonavir should use Viagra every second day.
Missed Dose
Viagra Soft are taken when required, so this is not applicable.
Precautions
Avoid using Viagra Soft if you are taking nitrates to treat any heart condition. When combined with Viagra Soft, nitrates can cause a serious drop in blood pressure.
Sexual activity may be dangerous for men with heart problems. If this is the case, avoid the use of Viagra Soft unless your doctor is of the opinion that this drug is safe for you to use. Be equally careful if you have suffered any of the following conditions in the last six months: heart attack, stroke, severe hypertension, low blood pressure or unstable angina. Any of these conditions could react badly with Viagra Soft and cause fainting and dizziness that may lead to a stroke or heart attack.
If you experience dizziness, chest pain or nausea during sexual activity while using Viagra Soft, stop immediately and speak to your doctor as soon as possible.
Viagra Soft should be used cautiously by men who suffer with sickle cell anemia, bone marrow disease, leukemia, any bleeding disorder, stomach ulcer, or retinitis pigmentosa.
Side-effects
Side-effects of Viagra Soft usually occur with high doses - they are usually mild and disappear quickly. However, if any of the following symptoms persist, or get worse, contact your doctor: headache, flushing, upset stomach, runny nose, sensitivity to light, dizziness, diarrhea, rash or itching.
A rare side-effect is a temporary blue tint in vision and difficulty distinguishing the difference between blue and green colors. If any other uncomfortable symptoms occur while using Viagra Soft contact your doctor.
